Please be very careful with fire!
Please call 225-6631 to report that you are going to burn outside. You are not asking for permission, just notifying centeral dispatch that someone is buring in a certain location. If a 911 call of smoke comes and it's in your area, dispatch will send someone to investigate before dispatching the whole department.
Please make sure you have enough tools to keep the fire under control.
If you THINK you are in trouble and need help you most likely do, call 911 and we'll be there.

 The North Tongass VFD is always looking for volunteers to fight fires, help on the ambulance, drive water tankers or just help out around the stations. If you think you might be interested please call 228-6710 or stop by at 13110 NTH. |
Please watch for vehicles displaying a blue light. They are volunteers responding to an emergency and appriciate your cooporation in allowing them to get to the emergency scene as safely and efficiently as possible. A life may be in the balance. Thank you! |
